The prophet Isaiah declared:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on the top of all the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all the nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Ya'aqov; and he will teach us of his ways, and we shall walk in his paths: for out of Ziyyon shall go forth Torah, and the word of the Lord from Yerushalayim. (2:3)

This vision places the future Temple as a place for instruction and bringing forth God's word. The grand aim of the Temple is to be a house of blessing for all humankind.

For many the idea of a Third Temple has no place in a vision of a better world. For other's it is central to their vision of redemption. For many, it is a threatening issue that should be avoided. Can the Temple be relevant in your life? How can the Temple serve us in our times?

In this series of articles, we survey the relevance f the Temple, explore the controversies on the location of the former Temples and bring some startling new discoveries. Based on them, we can offer, for the first time, some practical ways in which the Temple of Jerusalem can be realized without causing conflict between Jews and Moslems. On the contrary – we offer a systematic new vision of religious reconciliation and gradual process of realizing the Temple, which starts from “Virtual Reality” and of complementary building – from Above and from Below.
