The
whole Old City of Jerusalem as Universal Temple of Reconciliation. |

The ideal solution for the contention of Israelis and Palestinians over the Old City of Jerusalem will be to dedicate it entirely to become “The City of God” and a universal Temple. Studies by associates of the Academy of Jerusalem have shown that the prophetic Temple of Jerusalem already underlies the whole Old City (see article “The whole city a Temple”, and the complete study “A Temple Revelation” by John Michell). It has therefore been proposed to recognize the Old City of Jerusalem as a Temple, take it out of the political contention and dedicate it to God. We may now go further to investigate how the present Old City of Jerusalem may function as a Universal Temple of Reconciliation. This Temple Complex would entail for its operation all the Arts of "Human Reconstruction", effecting the manifestation and representation of a New Humankind. Adapted within the existing building structures of the Old City there would be facilities and smaller scale models of the YeShUT. These facilities will include, among other elements: 1) Cells (Ta'im) for individual work (e.g. confined environments for meditations and even Metamorphosis process); 2) Chambers (Lishkot), for group peace-making work (such as game parlors and/or a set of “Holy Round Tables”); 3) Heikhalot Models, such as of the Dome of the Rock, as the regal stages of Human Reconstruction; 4) Human-size Models of the Human-form Temple of Solomon (T. Badillo). There would be also aerial light structures that represent the New, or Heavenly, Jerusalem coming down from heaven. These can span the whole Old City, without disturbing any of the existing terrestrial structures. (Some studies and examples for such “heavenly” light structures can be seen in our proposals for “The Pyramid of Light” over Jerusalem and the series of pictures of “The Quest for the Heavenly Jerusalem” displayed on the www.thehope.org/artgal.htm. In particular, picture 4 (Jubilation) shows a modest setup, while No. 2 (Realization) shows a grand model. These "heavenly" structures will serve to reflect the good and enlivening work that is being done for the rectification (Tikkun) of all humankind (Adam), right here on planet Erets. They will constitute a giant scoreboard in the Skies of Jerusalem, displaying the spiritual performance of all humankind (the Reconstructed Adam, if you like) over the whole city and visible from the whole country. |
